I remember like my sister had a tape, had a cassette tape of his and I, I would listen to it probably way more than she did, and I'd just always love not just his voice, 'cause he has such a distinct voice, but his songs. And few albums ago, I was just kind of thinking like it would be really cool if I, if I covered some, not older, like, country song, but just something that might be a little unexpected, and, you know, for a female to sing a, a male's song, like it, it's so much easier to just be able to make that song your own. And I was looking through my, my, my library o' music and, uhm, "I Told You So" rеally jumped out at me, and I was like, such a bеautiful melody. And he wrote that himself, you know? So that's even more special to me, and. It was such a, such an amazing thing, like, getting to meet him through that, and getting to be able to talk to him through that, and, you know, kind of us having our moments with the Grand Ole Opry. Him asking me to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry and he's just such, such a nice, nice man. And obviously, so talented, and just so sweet to have let me borrow his song for a little bit.
