'. ¿Quién es Los Errantes? Gilberto Cueva Fernández Director y fundador junto a Antonio Alarcón como primera guitarra, y Plinio Mogrovejo conformaron inicialmente el trío que por muchos años han estado en vigencia hasta la muerte de Antonio Alarcón que fue reemplazado por Jaime Silva Velarde cuando cumplían una misión artística en las serranías de la región de Lambayeque. Junto recorrieron muchos lugares del territorio peruano habiendo grabado gran número de long play y discos simples, entre huaynos, yaravíes, marineras y otros ritmos dedicados a su tierra. En su larga trayectoria llegaron a visitar más de trescientas ciudades y pueblos, iniciándose en el Cusco en el año 1962. Sus canciones comenzaron a hacerse muy populares internacionalmente ya que en Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador el estilo de LOS ERRANTES les es muy familiar. En sus cuarenta y cinco años de vida artística, tienen grabada y difundida más de trescientas canciones, siendo este grupo uno de los más positivamente marco huella en el alma nacional.
