Primeros Años y Descubrimientos

Norah Jones, nacida Geetali Norah Shankar Jones el 30 de marzo de 1979 en Brooklyn, Nueva York, creció en una amalgama de culturas y sonidos. Hija del legendario sitarista Ravi Shankar y de la productora de conciertos Sue Jones, Norah tuvo una infancia marcada por la música y la exploración artística.

A medida que crecía, su talento natural se hizo evidente. Estudió en la Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts en Dallas, Texas, donde empezó a brillar en el coro de la escuela. Fue aquí donde su amor por el jazz explotó, alimentado por la influencia de artistas icónicos como Billie Holiday y Etta James.

El Viaje a la Fama: "Come Away With Me"

Después de mudarse a Nueva York para asistir a la universidad, Norah comenzó a tocar en clubes y pequeños locales. Firmó con Blue Note Records, un sello discográfico especializado en jazz, y en 2002 lanzó su álbum debut, "Come Away With Me". Este trabajo cambió su vida y la catapultó a la fama internacional.
