D At Sea: La Revolución del Hardcore Acústico
Orígenes e Inicios
D At Sea es el proyecto solista de Doyle Perez, un músico extraordinario que ha dejado una marca indeleble en la escena musical. Originario de Brisbane, Australia, Doyle comenzó su carrera musical con una propuesta única: mezclar hardcore con la dulzura y sensibilidad del formato acústico.
Nacido el 8 de diciembre de 1991, en una familia trabajadora, Doyle mostró un interés temprano por la música. Su padre, un apasionado de la guitarra, fue quien le enseñó los primeros acordes. A los 15 años, Doyle ya tocaba en pequeñas bandas locales, aunque ninguna de ellas lo satisfacía por completo. Fue entonces cuando decidió dar un paso audaz y aventurarse como solista bajo el nombre artístico de D At Sea.
El Ascenso a la Fama
D At Sea comenzó a captar la atención del público en 2010, al subir sus videos a YouTube donde hacía covers acústicos de canciones de hardcore. Su voz impresionante y su habilidad para reinterpretar canciones pesadas en versiones suaves, pero intensas, atrajeron a una audiencia leal y creciente.
- En 2011, su cover de “Carrion” de Parkway Drive se volvió viral, alcanzando millones de vistas y colocándolo en el radar de fanáticos y críticos por igual.
- Su primer EP, titulado “Unconscious”, lanzado en 2012, fue un éxito rotundo, destacando por temas como “December” y “Can't Say I'm Sorry”.
