En 1991, Ugly Kid Joe lanzó su primer EP titulado As Ugly as They Wanna Be, el cual no pasó desapercibido. Life's got rainy days
Don't waste them all away
Better get on your knees and pray
Stop waiting for the sky to fall
And I'm long overdue
It's got nothing to do with you
And I'm already halfway home
Waiting for the sky to fall
Waiting for the sky to fall on me
So when you hear the sound of the whistle blow
You better walk like you got somewhere to go
You better run like you never had to run before
Just don't fade away
And if you hear the sound of the whistle blow
You better look like you're looking for somewhere to go
You better talk like you're talking to somebody you know
Just don't fade away
'Cause it's a long, long road
And I'm coming home
Life's got sunny days
So let's break all the walls way
Stop rolling the windows down in the rain
Waiting for the sky to fall
And not that long ago
The waves were crashing over me
I was rolling in that sunshine
Waiting for the sky to fall
Waiting for the sky to fall on me
So when you hear the sound of the whistle blow
You better walk like you got somewhere to go
You better run like you never had to run before
Just don't fade away
And if you hear the sound of the whistle blow
You better look like you're looking for somewhere to go
You better talk like you're talking to somebody you know
Just don't fade away
'Cause it's a long, long road
And I'm coming home
