Los Orígenes de una Leyenda

Volbeat es una banda danesa con un sonido inconfundible que fusiona el metal, punk rock, rockabilly y el hard rock. Fundada en Copenhague en 2001, Volbeat es el resultado de la visión del talento de Michael Poulsen, el carismático líder y vocalista del grupo. Antes de Volbeat, Poulsen formaba parte de Dominus, una banda de death metal que alcanzó cierto éxito en los años 90. Sin embargo, Poulsen anhelaba explorar nuevas fronteras musicales, dando origen así a Volbeat.

El Camino Hacia el Reconocimiento

La formación original de la banda incluía a Michael Poulsen en la voz y guitarra, Franz Gottschalk en la guitarra, Anders Kjølholm en el bajo y Jon Larsen en la batería. En 2005, lanzaron su álbum debut “The Strength/The Sound/The Songs”, que rápidamente capturó la atención de críticos y fans por igual, posicionándose como una de las revelaciones del momento.
