'. ¿Quién es Amen? Amen se inicia en el año de 1995 con Steve Suárez, Renan Díaz y Marcello Motta. Marcello y Steve se conocian desde niños Marcello tocaba bateria y Steve la guitarra. Deciden hacer una banda y Marcello empieza a cantar y tocar la guitarra porque para componer, crear melodias y canciones es mucho mas facil que con la bateria. Despues de un tiempo conocen a Renan, que se une a la banda y empiezan a tocar los temas de una forma mas seria, mas concreta. Asi nace el grupo, y comienzan a componer con mas intensidad aunque no tienen conciertos. Llega el día de la primera presentacion en publico, un festival que se realiza frente a la posta medica en ventanilla (lima), lugar donde han crecido. Todavía la banda no tiene nombre. Un día antes de la tocada Marcello tiene un sueño acerca de un concierto de su grupo, que estaba lleno de gente. Él escucha que la gente dice “Amen, Amen”. El sueño es tan real que cuando se despierta lo que dice es “ojala que asi sea” dice a los otros integrantes de la banda que se llamará Amen.
