'. ¿Quién es Venom? Venom es una banda británica pionera del metal extremo. Fue formada en Newcastle, Inglaterra, en 1979, originalmente conformada como un quinteto por Conrad "Cronos" Lant, Jeffrey "Mantas" Dunn, Tony "Abbadon" Bray, Clive "Jesus Christ" Archer y Alan Winston. Durante su carrera tuvieron varios cambios en sus integrantes, poro su formación más exitosa fue la de Cronos (bajista y vocalista), Mantas (guitarrista) y Abbadon (baterista). La banda alcanzó el éxito con su disco "Black Metal", el cual es una gran influencia para varios estilos que englobarían al llamado metal extremo, como: el thrash metal, el death metal, y el black metal (el título del disco bautizó el nombre de este último género). Entre sus exitosos álbumes, están: "At War with Satan", "Possessed" y "Calm Before the Storm".
