'. ¿Quién es Yo La Tengo? Yo La Tengo o también YLT, es una banda musical estadounidense. Fue creada en Hoboken, Nueva Jersey, Estados Unidos, en 1984. En la alineación actual continúan los dos fundadores, junto a un integrante que se incorporó varios años después. Son ellos, Ira Kaplan (guitarras, piano y voz), Georgia Hubley (batería, piano y voz) y James McNew (bajo y voz). Yo La Tengo es conocido por varios de sus trabajos discográficos. Entre otros, "Ride The Tiger", "Fakebook", "Painful", "And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out", "Fade" y "We Have Amnesia Sometimes". Son más de quince discos de estudio de larga duración y otros tantos EP. El número de sus álbumes recopilatorios se acerca a la decena. Solidarios y entusiastas, no pocos de sus conciertos han sido a beneficio de una noble causa. Significado del nombre Yo La Tengo buscaba un nombre en español y se sirvió de una anécdota del beisbol.
