'. ¿Quién es Kansas? Kansas es una banda musical estadounidense. Se conformó en 1968 en Topeka, Kansas, Estados Unidos. Ganó popularidad en la década de los setenta con sus canciones en varios subgéneros del rock. Significado del nombre Sus integrantes decidieron rebautizar la anterior banda musical, llamándola como su estado Kansas, abandonando el nombre de White Clover. Inicios de Kansas en la Música Kansas fue creada por el bajista Dave Hope, el baterista Phil Ehart y el guitarrista Kerry Livgrenen en los setenta, quienes se unieron con el deseo de tener una banda musical. Luego se integraron el cantante y teclista Steve Walsh, el violinista Robert Steinhardt y el guitarra Richard Williams, comenzando a tocar en su localidad. Género musical Kansas realiza sus interpretaciones en subgéneros del rock, como el rock progresivo, rock sinfónico, heartland rock, folk rock, arena rock y hard rock.
