'. ¿Quién es Jeanette? Janette Anne Dimech, quién es conocida en el mundo del espectáculo como Jeanette, es una cantante que nació en Londres, Gran Bretaña, el 10 de octubre de 1951, y fue naturalizada española. Es intérprete de grandes temas musicales cantados en español, pero también tiene temas en catalán, inglés, francés, japones y alemán. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Hija de madre canaria, natural de Santa Cruz de Tenerife y padre del antiguo Congo Belga, de ascendencia maltesa. Ambos se conocieron en la capital británica, cuando las Islas Canarias comerciaban con Gran Bretaña en la exportación e importación de frutales. Jeanette nació y vivió en Londres hasta 1953, hasta que sus padres se trasladaron a los Estados Unidos, primero se instalaron en Chicago y después en Los Ángeles, a partir de 1961, donde años más tarde nacieron sus dos hermanos menores. Tras el divorcio de sus padres, Jeanette decidió volver a su país de origen bajo la custodia de su madre, instalándose en Barcelona a partir de 1964, donde entra a formar parte del grupo Pic-Nic.
