'. ¿Quién es Lady A? Lady A, anteriormente conocidos como Lady Antebellum (hasta junio de 2020), es un trío de country-pop, fundado en el año 2006 en Nashville, Tennessee, Estados Unidos. Sus integrantes son Charles Kelley, vocalista; Dave Haywood, guitarrista; y Hillary Scott, cantante. En el año de su creación el grupo participó en el sencillo “Never Alone” de Jim Brickman, su debut formal se dio en 2007 con la edición de “Love Don't Live Here”, una canción que salió luego de firmar contrato con el sello Capitol Records. Significado del nombre El seudónimo artístico fue escogido, como un guiño a la nostalgia, en un momento en que el grupo se fotografió con disfraces históricos frente a edificios de antes de la Guerra Civil estadounidense -Norte vs Sur-; de allí el nombre "antebellum", que en latín significa antes de la guerra, mientras que el sustantivo Lady fue en honor a la única mujer de la banda. En junio de 2020 modificaron oficialmente el nombre de la agrupación a Lady A, en virtud de las protestas contra el asesinato del afroestadounidense George Floyd, que fue matado por la policía.
