'. ¿Quién es Karina? Cynthia Karina Moreno Elías, conocida en el medio artístico y musical como Karina, es una cantante, compositora y actriz venezolana. Nació en Lima, Perú, el 19 de noviembre de 1968. También se le dice cariñosamente Karina La Voz. Primero llamó la atención por su intervención en el disco "El taller del orfebre", en el que interpretó la canción "Zapatos de tacón alto". Luego se dio a conocer en América Latina por el éxito de su álbum debut. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Karina llegó a Venezuela al año de nacida; en ese país se radicó con su familia. Sus padres, Cynthia Elías de Moreno y Daniel Moreno, pertenecen al judaísmo. Es la cuarta de cinco hermanos. Domina los idiomas hebreo, español e inglés. En bachillerato organizó y participó en varios eventos culturales. Comenzó la carrera de Comunicación Social en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, pero no terminó por dedicarse al canto.
