(Yeah, yeah
What you got, Mr. Reddick?)
We've come a long way
Been through some dark days
We've seen some things change
And we shall overcome
It's been a long night
We need some morning light
To get to the other side
We've got to keep on finding ways to
Show up
(And we've got to)
Choose love
We've come a long way
We've got a long way to go (yeah)
Let's do the next right thing
Show up
(And we've got to)
Choose love
We've come a long way
We've got a long way to go (hey!)
Let's do the next right thing
Now you can say it ain't my fault (what should it be?)
Or you can say it's all on y'all (what should it be?)
Or you can say whatever you want (what should it be?)
(Man, they probably gonna cancel me)
This nation that we all love
Is partly covered in rust
We got no time for this fuss
We've got to keep on finding ways to
Show up
(And we've got to)
Choose love
We've come a long way
We've got a long way to go (yeah)
Let's do the next right thing
Show up
(And we've got to)
Choose love
We've come a long way
We've got a long way to go (hey!)
Let's do the next right thing
Show up
Choose love
We've come a long way
We've got a long way to go (hey!)
Let's do the next right thing
(You know, we should leave everyone we see
Better than we found 'em)
Oh, better than we found 'em
Better than we found 'em, better
Let's love people well
Oh, better
Better than we found 'em, better
Better than we found 'em, better
Oh, better
Let's love people well
His love never fails
Better
Better than we found 'em, better
Better than we found 'em, better
Oh, better
Let's love people well
His love never fails
Better (Better)
Better than we found 'em, better (better)
Better than we found 'em, better (better)
Oh, better
We've got to keep on finding ways to
Show up
(Yeah, we've got to)
Choose love (aye)
We've come a long way
We've got a long way to go
Let's do the next right thing and
Show up

Sometimes the next right thing

Choose love, choose love
Sometimes the next right thing
Is all you can do, yeah
