'. ¿Quién es Banda XXI? La Banda XXI es sinónimo de éxito. El fenómeno hizo su aparición a finales del año 1999, pero tuvo su origen mucho tiempo antes: Miguel Alejandro, su creador, se inició en la profesión como cantante de un grupo llamado Legión Extranjera a finales del año 1976 cuando tenia sólo 18 años. Pasó el tiempo. Corría el año 1984 y la música popular de Córdoba ya se había transformado en un movimiento que iba ganando cada vez mas mercado en gran parte del país, y la inserción de nuevos interpretes podría tener buenas posibilidades. Un día recibió la propuesta del Omar Diez, (persona dedicada a la organización de bailes populares en Río Cuarto), de grabar un demo con posibilidad de que en un futuro se convirtiera en una edición concreta de su primer disco como solista. De esa manera con el grupo Legión Extranjera y algunos integrantes más, comenzó esta nueva etapa. Pasó casi un año para que se editara aquella primera grabación que estuvo a cargo del conocido compositor y productor Kelo Sánchez.
