R. City: De las Islas Vírgenes al Escenario Global

Los Primeros Años

R. City, también conocido como Rock City, es un dúo musical compuesto por los hermanos Theron y Timothy Thomas. Nacidos y criados en St. Thomas, en las Islas Vírgenes de los Estados Unidos, estos talentosos hermanos crecieron inmersos en una rica cultura musical que abarcaba desde el reggae y el calypso hasta el hip-hop y el R&B.

La pasión por la música en los Thomas fue evidente desde una edad temprana. Sus padres, músicos de la iglesia, les enseñaron a apreciar la diversidad y a encontrar inspiración en una amplia gama de géneros. Este trasfondo cultural diverso fue fundamental para desarrollar su estilo musical único.

El Salto a la Fama

En 2000, los hermanos decidieron mudarse a Miami con el objetivo de hacer una carrera en la industria musical. A través de arduo trabajo, poco a poco empezaron a ganar reconocimiento como compositores. Trabajaron para artistas de renombre como Akon, Usher, y Chris Brown, lo que les permitió establecerse en la escena musical.

La dupla comenzó a hacerse un nombre dentro de la industria gracias a su capacidad para escribir canciones con letras potentes y melodías pegajosas. Su gran talento como compositores les permitió salir de las sombras y brillar por cuenta propia.

El Debut Como Artistas

En 2015, R. City lanzó su álbum debut titulado What Dreams Are Made Of. El primer sencillo, "Locked Away", que contó con la colaboración de Adam Levine de Maroon 5, se convirtió rápidamente en un éxito global. La canción Ver BiograFia Completa
