Orígenes: El Nacimiento de una Leyenda

En 1973, en la vibrante ciudad de Miami, Florida, se consolidó una agrupación que revolucionaría la escena musical mundial. Fundada por Harry Wayne Casey, mejor conocido como KC, junto a Richard Finch, KC & The Sunshine Band se convirtió en un referente ineludible del funk y la música disco. Lo que comenzó como un sueño en un almacén de discos, rápidamente capturó la esencia de una generación con su característico sonido.

Primeros Pasos y Explosión al Estrellato

En sus inicios, KC trabajaba para la empresa discográfica TK Records, donde conoció a Richard Finch. La química musical fue instantánea, y juntos comenzaron a componer y producir. En 1974, lanzaron su primer sencillo, "Blow Your Whistle", que si bien tuvo un éxito moderado, les abrió las puertas al mundo musical.

No obstante, fue en 1975 con el lanzamiento de "Get Down Tonight" que la banda se catapultó al estrellato. Este sencillo alcanzó el número uno en las listas de Billboard, y se convirtió en un himno de las pistas de baile.
