'. ¿Quién es Modern Talking? Modern Talking fue un dúo alemán de synthpop formado por el cantante Thomas Anders y el productor Dieter Bohlen. Cuenta además con la participación de los cantantes, arreglistas y productores Rolf Köhler, Michael Scholz, Detlef Wiedeke, Birger Corleis, y de Luis Rodríguez y Ralf Stemman en la producción. Han sido clasificados también como Europop. Por ventas, es el grupo más exitoso en Alemania, con más de 120 millones de discos vendidos.1 El estilo musical es el Eurodisco de los 80s, con influencias del folklor bailable alemán conocido como discofox cantado en inglés. Modern Talking fueron exitosos, especialmente en Europa, Asia, América del Sur, Australia y algunos países africanos. En Estados Unidos nunca aparecieron en las listas ya que nunca editaron un disco en ese país, aunque a veces hacían apariciones para inmigrantes europeos. A principios de la década de 1980, el productor y compositor Dieter Bohlen empezó a trabajar para la compañía discográfica Hansa. Bohlen consiguió más fracasos que victorias hasta que le asignaron trabajar con un joven cantante llamado Bernd Weidung de nombre artístico Thomas Anders.
