'. ¿Quién es Deadmau5? Joel Thomas Zimmerman, mejor conocido por su nombre artístico Deadmau5, es un productor musical, compositor y disc jockey. Nació el 5 de enero de 1981 en Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canadá. En 2005, Deadmau5 incursionó en la industria del espectáculo al producir sencillos con géneros como house y electrónica. Significado del nombre Su nombre artístico se debe a que un día encontró un ratón, el cual murió electrocutado en su computadora. Este hecho marcó su vida, por lo que empezó a utilizarlo como seudónimo en Internet. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Deadmau5 creció en el seno de una familia con ascendencia alemana, sueca e inglesa. Su progenitora Nancy Zimmerman es una artista visual, mientras que su padre, Rodney Thomas Zimmerman, trabaja en una planta.
