Nilsen y Steffen Ojala Søderholm, conocidos como DJs en el mundo musical. Ellos crearon un proyecto bajo el nombre artístico Nightcore como parte de una tarea escolar.

La esencia del Nightcore radica en tomar una canción existente y acelerar su tempo y tono, lo que le da esa característica sensación energética y optimista. El primer álbum producido por el dúo se tituló "Energized", un nombre que reflejaba perfectamente la vitalidad y emoción de su música.
