La Saga de Asking Alexandria: El Viaje de una Banda que Redefinió el Metalcore
Primeros Días y Formación
Asking Alexandria es una banda británica de metalcore que surgió en York, Inglaterra, en 2008. Fundada por el guitarrista Ben Bruce, la historia de la banda se inicia cuando Bruce, inicialmente con otro proyecto del mismo nombre en Dubái, decide retornar al Reino Unido. Allí, conoce a los miembros que conformarían la versión definitiva de Asking Alexandria: el vocalista Danny Worsnop, el bajista Cameron Liddell, el guitarrista James Cassells y el baterista Sam Bettley.
El debut de la banda fue marcado por su primer álbum, “Stand Up and Scream”, lanzado en 2009. Este disco demostró ser una mezcla intensa de elementos de synthcore y metalcore, ganando rápidamente una sólida base de seguidores debido a sus enérgicas actuaciones en vivo y los potentes temas como “The Final Episode (Let’s Change the Channel)” y “A Prophecy”.
Ascenso a la Fama
El éxito de "Stand Up and Scream" llevó a Asking Alexandria a realizar giras extensas, participando en festivales prominentes y realizando conciertos por todo el mundo. En 2011, la banda lanzó su segundo álbum, “Reckless & Relentless”. Este disco continuó con la energía y agresividad del primero, pero mostró una madurez en las letras y en la destreza musical.
