'. ¿Quién es Godsmack? Godsmack, es una banda de rock, formada en Windham, New Hampshire, Massachussets, Estados Unidos, en 1995 por Sully Erna, Tony Rombola, Robbie Merrill y Shannon Larkin. Sully Erna fue el fundador principal de la banda, tras tener la iniciativa de formar una banda de rock luego de haber pertenecido a la banda Strip Mind como baterista durante dos años y con 23 años de experiencia en el ámbito musical. Inicialmente Erna llamo a la banda The Scam, donde participaba el como vocalista, Robbie Merrill como bajista, Lee Richards como guitarrista y Tommy Stewart como baterista. Luego de la grabación de su primer demo deciden cambiar su nombre a Godsmack, su inicio fue paso a paso tras darse a conocer primero en su localidad, haciendo presentaciones en diferentes locales de Lawrence y Salem. Tocando covers principalmente para después componer sus propias letras. En 1996, se incorporaron a la banda Tony Rombola y Jake Thibault, para tocar la guitarra y la batería, esto ocurrió tras el abandono del grupo de Lee Richards al descubrir que tenía un hijo de 6 años y también Stewart al tener diferencias Ver BiograFia Completa
