Cold War Kids es una banda originaria de Long Beach, California, Estados Unidos, creada en el 2004 incursionando dentro de la industria musical con el género indie, blues y rock. Los miembros de esta agrupación son: Nathan Willett como vocalista, pianista y guitarrista; Matt Maust como guitarrista; David Quon como guitarrista y corista; Matthew Schwartz como tecladista, vocalista, guitarrista y percusionista, finalmente se encuentra Joe Plummer como baterista y percusionista. Aunque en principio estuvo conformada por Dann Gallucci como guitarrista, tecladista y percusionista; Matt Aveiro como baterista y percusionista; finalmente por Jonnie Russell como guitarrista, vocalista , pianista, tecladista y percusionista.
