'. ¿Quién es Devendra Banhart? Devendra Banhart es un cantante, compositor, músico y artista visual venezolano-estadounidense. Nació en Houston, Texas, Estados Unidos, el 30 de mayo de 1981. Ha ganado reconocimiento con sus trabajos musicales, entre los que destacan "Oh Me Oh My", "The Black Bables". "Niño rojo", "Smokey Rolis Down Thunder Cayon" y "Ma'", entre otros. También se ha centrado como artista visual ampliado su carrera para incorporar su interés y formación en las artes visuales. Significado del nombre Devendra Banhart es su nombre de pila, en la mitología hindú significa Indra o Dios de los elementos naturales como cielo, relámpago, trueno y lluvia. Fue sugerido por Prem Rawat, el maestro espiritual que sus padres seguían. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Devendra Banhart es hijo la venezolana María Eugenia Rísquez y el estadounidense Robert Gary Banhart.
