'. ¿Quién es Noa? Achinoam Nini, mejor conocida como Noa, es una cantante y activista israelí. Nació en Tel Aviv, Israel, el 23 de junio de 1969. Tiene raíces judías yemenitas. Estudió música en el Rimon School, donde conoció a su compañero y colaborador Gil Dor. Se caracteriza por la mezcla de culturas y estilos, en las que combina la música clásica, el jazz y el rock. Ha realizado duetos con artistas como Sting, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, entre otros. Significado del nombre Su nombre proviene de la primera mujer del rey David, Noa, personaje bíblico a la que se considera la primera feminista de la historia. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar El mestizaje siempre ha estado presente en la vida de Noa, de abuelos yemeníes y padres israelíes abandonó Israel para poner rumbo a Estados Unidos. Allí su padre consiguió una beca, lo que le llevó a trasladarse con toda su familia cuando Noa era tan solo un bebé. Su padre, un ingeniero químico muy aficionado a la música, quiso que su hija tuviera una gran formación musical.
