'. ¿Quién es Edgar Winter? Edgar Holland Winter, mejor conocido como Edgar Winter, es un músico, compositor, cantante y productor de los géneros blues, jazz y rock. Nació el 28 de diciembre de 1946 en Beaumont, Texas, Estados Unidos. Es reconocido por su destacada trayectoria con instrumentos como el saxofón, piano, teclado, marimba, timbales, entre otros, además de su voz. Formó la agrupación The Edgar Winter Group. Trayectoria y Legado En el año 1970 firmó su primer contrato con Epic Records, gracias a las grabaciones que realizó con su hermano Johnny Winter y sus dos discos "Entrance" y "Edgar Winter's White Trash", lo que les permitió ir poco a poco haciéndose conocidos en el mundo artístico. Dos años después (1972) formó el grupo The Edgar Winter Group junto a Dan Hartman, Ronnie Montrose, Chuck Ruff y el guitarrista y productor Rick Derringer. Conformados de esta manera, lanzaron su primer trabajo discográfico titulado "They Only Come Out at Night" en ese mismo año.
