Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwo'ole, mejor conocido en el medio artístico como Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole, fue un grandioso cantante hawaiano, el cual se hizo muy reconoció gracias a sus versiones de las canciones "Over the rainbow" y "What a Wonderful World", a las que unió en el espectacular popurrí titulado "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
