'. ¿Quién es Stratovarius? Stratovarius es una banda de origen finlandés. Fue formada en Helsinki, Finlandia, en 1984, por Tuomo Lassila, John Vihervä y Staffan Stråhlman. Aunque actualmente la banda no cuenta con ninguno de sus miembros originales, su vocalista Timo Kotipelto es el integrante más antiguo, seguido por el tecladista Jens Johansson. Stratovarius es reconocida por su estilo único, que combina guitarras melódicas, teclados prominentes y letras épicas. Entre sus trabajos musicales más destacados se encuentran "Visions", "Episode" y "Infinite". Significado del nombre Inicialmente se les conocía como Black Water, sin embargo, a partir de 1986 decidieron cambiar su nombre a Stratovarius, el cual fue creado por Lassila y combina las palabras "Stratocaster" (un tipo de guitarra) y "Stradivarius" (un famoso fabricante de violines).
