Los Inicios y la Formación (1999-2003)
Trivium se formó en el año 1999 en Orlando, Florida. Inicialmente, la banda estaba compuesta por Brad Lewter en la voz, Matt Heafy en la guitarra y voz, y Travis Smith en la batería. Brad Lewter dejó la banda poco después de la formación, y Heafy asumió las responsabilidades de vocalista principal. Al poco tiempo, Cory Beaulieu se unió como guitarrista y Paolo Gregoletto asumió el rol de bajista.
