'. ¿Quién es Enigma? Enigma era un proyecto musical liderado por el productor, músico y cantante de origen rumano-austríaco Michael Cretu. Debuta en 1990 con el sensillo "Sadeness (part. I)", demostrando que podía triunfar con una música nada convencional, y desde el anonimato. En un principio se decía que detrás de Enigma podrían estar músicos de la talla de Alan Parsons o Mike Oldfield, a pesar de la referencia "Curly M.C." que figura por todo el disco, nadie se imaginó que "Curly" (así le llaman sus amigos y familiares) y las iniciales de su verdadero nombre "M. C." respondían al famoso productor. El anonimato no pudo durar mucho debido a que la música de este debut como Enigma, MCMXC a.
