¿Quién es Israel Kamakawiwo'ole? Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwo'ole, mejor conocido en el medio artístico como Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole, fue un grandioso cantante hawaiano, el cual se hizo muy reconoció gracias a sus versiones de las canciones "Over the rainbow" y "What a Wonderful World", a las que unió en el espectacular popurrí titulado "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Nació el 20 de mayo de 1959, en Honolulu, Hawái, Estados Unidos y falleció el 26 de junio de 1997 en la misma localidad.
