The Alan Parsons Project: Una Odisea Sonora

Introducción

The Alan Parsons Project es una formación musical de rock progresivo y art rock que alcanzó notoriedad desde mediados de los años 70 hasta finales de los 80. El grupo se caracteriza por sus ambiciosos álbumes conceptuales y su sonido meticulosamente elaborado. Liderado por el ingeniero de estudio y productor Alan Parsons y el compositor y vocalista Eric Woolfson, The Alan Parsons Project dejó una marca indeleble en la historia de la música moderna.

Los Primordios

Alan Parsons, nacido el 20 de diciembre de 1948 en Londres, Inglaterra, comenzó su carrera musical trabajando en los míticos estudios Abbey Road. Contribuyó en la producción de álbumes icónicos como Abbey Road y Let It Be de The Beatles, así como The Dark Side of the Moon de Pink Floyd. Estas experiencias le dieron un profundo entendimiento del proceso de grabación y producción musical.

Eric Woolfson, nacido el 18 de marzo de 1945 en Glasgow, Escocia, inició su carrera musical como compositor y músico de sesión.
