'. ¿Quién es Mika? Iinició su carrera en 2006. Michael Holbrook Penniman Ismaili (18 de agosto de 1983), más conocido como Mika (pronunciado /ˈmiːkə/), es un cantante que nació en Beirut, capital del Líbano. Tuvo que trasladarse muy pronto con su familia a París debido a la guerra. Cuando su padre fue capturado como rehén y mantenido en la embajada americana de Kuwait, la familia se asentó finalmente en Londres. Una experiencia inevitablemente turbulenta para este joven. Cuando tenía 9 años empezó a conseguir trabajos en muchos sitios. Con la ayuda de Alla Ardakov, un profesor de canto ruso, llego a ser bueno en los conciertos profesionales. Hizo de todo, desde grabar con la Royal Opera House hasta cantar por £45 para la marca de chicles Orbit. Su madre y él no tenían idea de lo que se suponía que tenían que pagarle, y nadie se dio prisa por sacarles de su ignorancia.
