'. ¿Quién es Tina Charles? Tina Charles es una cantante británica, nacida el 10 de marzo de 1954, en Londres. Se hizo famosa durante el auge de la música disco en los años ‘70s. Ha sido considerada una de las mejores voces de dicho género de todos los tiempos. Desde 1969 hasta el 2008 ha lanzado 16 sencillos y 11 álbumes de estudio. Inicios de Tina Charles en la Música Tina comenzó su carrera como vocalista de coros y grabó su primer sencillo en solitario en 1969 a los 15 años, con un entonces desconocido Elton John, quien realizó el acompañamiento coral. En 1974 Tina y su amiga Linda Lewis realizan los coros del éxito "Make Me Smile", de Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel y en 1975 realiza los principales coros para el éxito "I'm On Fire", del grupo 5.000 Volts y aunque no era públicamente reconocida como miembro del grupo, la prensa especializada opinó que poseía una mejor y más fuerte voz que la cantante oficial del grupo. El tema tuvo un gran éxito y alcanzó el número 3 en el UK Singles Chart del Reino Unido y el número 16 en la lista Billboard de los Estados Unidos.
