'. ¿Quién es My Chemical Romance? My Chemical Romance es una banda de punk rock alternativo que se formó en el año 2000 en New Jersey, Estados Unidos, cuando su cantante Gerard Way y el baterista Matt Pelissier (quienes eran amigos desde la secundaria) decidieron tratar de escribir algunas canciones juntos. Way y Pelissier lograron componer un tema llamado "Skylines and Turnstiles" y se sintieron tan a gusto que llamaron al guitarrista Ray Toro para saber si estaba interesado en trabajar con ellos. La respuesta fue afirmativa y My Chemical Romance se terminó de componer con el hermano del cantante como bajista, Mikey Way, y el segundo guitarra Frank Lero. My Chemical Romance suena agresivo, pero bastante melódico y digerible. Muchos comentan que se puede llamar "emo-punk" la música que ellos interpretan, mientras otros los llaman simplemente rock pop por sus altas probabilidades de afianzarse en el mercado americano y europeo durante un buen tiempo.
