'. ¿Quién es Akwid? Akwid es un grupo mexicano que combina el estilo hip hop con la música mexicana regional. Se crearon a finales de los noventa en Michoacán, México, bajo el nombre Juvenile Style, por los raperos Francisco "AK" y Sergio "Wikid" Gómez. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Los hermanos Sergio y Francisco Gómez nacieron en Jiquilpan, Michoacán, México. Se mudaron a los Estados Unidos a los cinco y tres años de edad respectivamente. Educados en las calles de Los Ángeles, California (EEUU), descubrieron un talento musical y una gran preocupación entre los mundos del Hip Hop. El grupo fue reconocido y presionó efusivamente la fusión entre la música y cultura. Inicios de Akwid en la Música Conocidos previamente como Juvenile Style, Sergio y Francisco Gómez iniciaron su carrera musical en el movimiento "underground" del hip hop al principio de la década de los 90 y grabaron varios discos de manera independiente antes de unirse a Univision Records.
