'. ¿Quién es Dev? Devin Star Tailes, mejor conocida en el medio artístico como Dev, es una cantante, compositora, rapera, modelo y presentadora de radio estadounidense. Nació el 2 de julio de 1989 en Tracy, California, Estados Unidos. Fue descubierta por el grupo de indie pop The Cataracs, por medio de la extinta plataforma de Myspace, luego de que Shane Crislip publicara un vídeo de Dev interpretando "Blonde Trick" de la cantante británica Amy Winehouse. Es presentadora de radio de la popular radio Beats 1 de Apple, fundado en 2015. Significado del nombre Dev tomó su apodo musical de su nombre de nacimiento, Devin, realizando un diminutivo de las primeras tres letras. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Dev es hija de Lisa y Riki Tailes, su madre es una agente de bienes raíces y su padre un contratista de pintura. Ella tiene dos hermanas menores, Sierra Sol y Maezee Lua. La cantante es de ascendencia portuguesa y mexicana. Creció en la ciudad de Manteca, California, Estados Unidos.
