'. ¿Quién es Kevin Gates? Kevin Jerome Gilyard, mejor conocido en el medio artístico como Kevin Gates, es un rapero, cantante y empresario. Nació Louisiana, Estados Unidos, el 5 de febrero de 1986. Su debut fue en el año 2016, cuando lanzó su álbum de estudio debut “Islah”, el cual se posicionó en el número dos en la lista Billboard 200. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Kevin Gates familia se mudaron a Baton Rouge, Luisiana, poco después de su nacimiento. Cuando tenía 13 años fue arrestado por primera vez por ser “pasajero” de un vehículo. Posteriormente, a los 17 años, asistió brevemente a Baton Rouge Community College. Trayectoria y Legado La carrera artística de Kevin Gatos inició en 2007 firmando con el sello local Dead Game Records. Sin embargo, un año más tarde fue encarcelado durante 31 meses, 2008 y 2011, lo cual detuvo su carrera. Durante el tiempo en prisión obtuvo una maestría en psicología gracias a un programa carcelario. Tras salir de la cárcel, Kevin Gates ganó gran popularidad con el lanzamiento del mixtape “Make 'Em Believe”.
