THINGS I LOVE for Robb Report Lyrics[Intro]
We’re gonna do it podcast microphone style, we’re gonna make it quick!
[Spoken Word]
So, one of my first videos, I had like 30 chains on, I love colored stones. My first watch was a SpongeBob Burger King watch.
None of these watches turn on or work, I just think they’re beautiful.
I got a library card for my 10th birthday and that’s when it started.
Collecting Vice magazines since 15, all the random info from that.
Supreme editorials helped me understand shape and proportions.
I stole this Pharell Source magazine from Ralph’s back in 2003, and had it ever since. (I need it!)
Black Panther news letters, very impactful.
I loved Goosebumps as a kid! Tim Jacob is the illustrator, actually did a cover for “Cherry Bomb” for me that I never released.
Black Ivy by Jason Jules is a 10 out of 10, we always had the best style.
This double XL government meant everything to me as a kid, man.
As on the nose as it sounds, I look at a trunk as like uh, a symbol of new experiences and the way of escaping. (Corny)
I have this early 1900 Louis Vuitton hat case, that has a Queen Mary passenger sticker from 1949 on it. (I think it’s real.)
Maltier, make the first le FLEUR* trunks. (That’s trunk maker in French!)
I got a special one made and colors that remind me of TV static when you zoom in.
The ones we put out came in baby pink though, because I feel like most trunks and cases usually come in brown.
I also have an Armoires-Moynat, I probably pronounced that wrong.
I have a very special collection of pins, some broaches flooded and Stones, somewhat clocks older than me on them.
It started as a way to promote the “IGOR” album, and I just kept going, so now I try to find a pin in every city I go to. (That’s a lot of pins, bro!)
I have a couple vinyls, when I was younger, I would look at this site called French attack that has super rare Jazz and Soul records, but it wasn’t until 2012 when I started my collection.
From Twilight to Cortex, which I’ve seen live a few weeks ago. (It was so good!)
Air, Bobbi Humphery and the Mizell Brothers. JK signed this for me out of nowhere, I love Jamiroquai so goddamn much, thanks JK.
Portishead, Stevie, Talking Book turns 50 this year. Gary Davis, Gee Dee is one of my favorite songs, of ever.
The Roy Ayers project, the God Leon Ware, I named my first fragrance after his song “French Waltz.” (I am a theif!)
One of my earliest songs, “Fucking Lame”, I rap about a Bimmer that I didn’t have yet, because I was in love with the E46, April 3.
And I have a cool little Fleet that I drive, Fiats, my McLarens, volunteers, plural.
As soon as I got my Rolls, I went on a road trip to Utah on the snow.
I keep my CD collection in my Bimmer, listening to an album front to back is magical, I love it.
Speakers aren’t the best, but they have a texture that the newer cars lack.
I keep a bottle of French Waltz in every car I have. The color palette in my M3 is one of my favorites, so, I decided to get a bike to match um, me and SC to do a bike together.
When the cool kids put Black Mags out, it gave us a new appreciation for something we mostly seen as transportation.
As kids, we would bike to Manhattan Beach from Hawthrone to see the nice houses. I still do it from time to time. I hope I’m like 90 years old, still biking around the city, it brings me peace, I love it. (That’s a Louis Vuitton bike!)
