'. ¿Quién es Gondwana? Gondwana es una agrupación de reggae. Fundada en 1987 en Picoya, Santiago de Chile, por su líder y bajista I-Locks Labbé, quien al escuchar el grupo británico de rock y reggae The Police, integrado por el mítico Sting junto a otros músicos, se interesó en el género. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Al igual que muchos grupos que incursionan con poca ayuda hicieron sus primeras presentaciones en peñas folklóricas, eventos escolares y universitarios, pequeñas celebraciones comunales donde obviamente los recursos escaseaban. Género musical I-Locks empezó escuchando un cassette de reggae el cual le fascinó desde un principio por sus líricas y ritmo que tenía.
