Life is what you make it
And if you don't make it, whose gonna make it for you?
Me say the youths
Yes, you haffi teach dem
And if you don't teach dem, whose gonna teach dem you?
Raise, yes, you haffi raise dem
'Cause if you don't raise, whose gonna raise dem for you?
And me say love
Yes, you haffi love dem
And if you don't love dem, whose gonna love dem for you?
Oh, what a day, it could be a day
Just like an holiday, unity that's what we say
To see the youths dem playing in the park
Without no one to hurt dem after dark
Everything is everything
Tell dem say no ask the blame, righteousness is what we bring
Why they promoting their war and strife
Rastafari tell dem fi preserve
