'. ¿Quién es The Wailers? The Wailers es un grupo de reggae jamaiquino fundado en el año 1963. Fue integrado por varios de los músicos más importantes de la esfera del reggae, entre los que se destacan: Bob Marley (vocalista, compositor y guitarrista), Junior Braithwaite (cantante), Beverly Kelso (cantante de respaldo), Bunny Wailer (cantante y percusionista), Peter Tosh (cantante y músico) y Cherry Smith (cantante). The Wailers ha tenido cuatro etapas en su actividad musical. La primera, desde su fundación en el año 1963 hasta 1968, finalizada cuando se incorporan al grupo los hermanos Aston (bajista - compositor) y Carlton Barrett (baterista). Estos dos hermanos le dieron un nuevo ritmo al grupo, iniciando así su segunda etapa, en la que los integrantes sirvieron más de compañía en los álbumes individuales de su vocalista, Bob Marley.
