'. ¿Quién fue Anthony Cruz? Anthony Cruz fue uno de los intérpretes más emblemáticos de la salsa romántica. Nació en New Jersey, Estados Unidos, el 5 de enero de 1965 de padres puertorriqueños y falleció la noche del viernes, 18 de mayo de 2018, de un paro cardiorrespiratorio, tras llevar varios días en el hospital. A temprana edad dejó demostrado su talento como cantante al ganar un concurso de vocalistas en New York, a la corta edad de cinco años. Allí se destacó también cantando con varios grupos juveniles salseros del momento y para 1992 se lanzó en solitario. Antes de que Anthony Cruz se convirtiera en solista para el sello Musical Productions, se formó a través de su paso instituciones musicales que lo hicieron digno merecedor de esta gran oportunidad. Formó parte de la Orquesta Internacional de Pedro Conga, corista en las producciones de Roberto Lugo, Pedro Arroyo, Nino Segarra; y cantante principal del fenecido Mario Ortíz. Su primera producción bajo Musical Productions, que son los ejecutivos de J&N Records, llevó por título «Algo Nuevo», del cual se destacaron los temas «No le temas a él», con el cual alcanzó altos niveles de popularidad que lo llevaron a obtener un Disco de Oro y exitosas presentaciones Ver BiograFia Completa
