Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar Onyx nació y creció en Estados Unidos, donde demostró su interés por la música a temprana edad. El cantautor cuenta con raíces del caribe ya que su padre es de la Republica Dominicana. Su madre nació en Nueva York, pero toda la familia de la isla de Puerto Rico.
