'. ¿Quién es Tory Lanez? Daystar Peterson, mejor conocido en el medio musical como Tory Lanez, es un rapero, cantante, compositor y productor discográfico canadiense. Nació en Brampton, Ontario, Canadá, el 27 de julio de 1992. Salta a la fama en el año 2016 tras estrenar sus sencillos "Say It" y "Luv", los cuales se posicionaron en los primeros 20 lugares del Billboard Hot 100. Significado del nombre Su nombre artístico fue elegido por un amigo de la infancia, llamado Hakeem, quien lo ayudó a crear su apodo "Lanez", el cual fue tomado debido a que a veces tenía que hurgar en las calles.
