'. ¿Quién es Drowning Pool? Drowning Pool es un grupo de heavy rock oriundo de Dallas, Texas, USA, que fue una de las más promisorias bandas de comienzos de siglo. Particularmente el proyecto representaba la visión del baterista Mike Luce y el guitarrista C.J. Pierce, que formó la banda después de viajar desde Nueva Orleans a Dallas y conectarse con el bajista Stevie Benton. A pesar de que inicialmente se presentaban como un trío instrumental, su sonido se fusionó al arribo de Dave “Stage” Williams como cantante. Drowning Poll experimentó un suceso desde el comienzo, cuando una copia de su primera grabación llegó a las manos de la banda Sevendust, fueron invitados a compartir una gira. Luego siguió otra con Kittie y (hed) PE o (Hed) Planet Earth, Su segunda grabación, grabada luego de dos años en giras, alcanzó a llegar a las diez mejores en la radio KEGL de Dallas y gracias a ello fue contratada por la disquera Wind-Up Records.
