John Clayton Mayer, mejor conocido como John Mayer, es un cantante, compositor, productor y diseñador gráfico estadounidense que nació el 16 de octubre de 1977 en Bridgeport, Connecticut, Estados Unidos, que incursionó en el mundo de la música en 1998 con géneros como el pop rock, blue eyed soul y blues rock. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar John Mayer, creció en el seno de una familia de clase media conformada por Margaret y Richard Mayer, quienes se dedicaban a la educación, ya que Margaret era profesora de inglés mientras que Richard se desempeñaba como director en una escuela, además eran asistentes en una iglesia cercana a su domicilio. Del matrimonio conformado entre Margaret y Richard, nacieron otros dos hijos, siendo John Mayer, el segundo en ser procreado.
