'. ¿Quién fue Luis Alberto Spinetta? Luis Alberto Spinetta, mejor conocido como Spinetta, fue un cantante, guitarrista, poeta, compositor argentino de rock y derivaciones del mismo. Fue uno de los músicos más importantes de su país y se le considera, junto a Charly García, los padres del rock argentino. Murió en Buenos Aires víctima de cáncer de pulmón el 8 de febrero de 2012. Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar La infancia de Luis Alberto Spinetta transcurrió en el Barrio Núñez del vecindario residencial de Belgrano, de Buenos Aires. Desde niño escuchaba toda clase de música: folklórica y tango, y un poco más tarde, rock. A los 12 años, fue seleccionado para realizar una gira luego de aprobar un concurso nacional de canto, aunque más tarde decidió desistir.
