'. ¿Quién es The Doors? The Doors fue una banda estadounidense de música rock. Surgió en 1965 en Los Ángeles, California, Estados Unidos, por iniciativa del vocalista Jim Morrison y el teclista Ray Manzarek. Luego se les unieron el guitarrista Robby Krieger y el baterista John Densmore. Jim Morrison murió en 1971, en circunstancias que no han sido esclarecidas completamente. La banda continuó como trío por dos años más. En 1978, se reunieron para grabar un nuevo disco de estudio. De allí en adelante lanzarían varios discos en vivo, pero ya no volvieron a ser los mismos. Incluso, grupos con nombres similares han continuado explotado las canciones y la marca. A veces con permiso de los herederos musicales de la banda y, otras, en franco desacuerdo. Entre esas agrupaciones, estuvo The Doors of the 21st Century, que luego cambiaría al nombre de D21C. Se mantuvo vigente durante el período 2002-2013.
