'. ¿Quién es The Toy Dolls? The Toy Dolls es un trío de rock punk cuyo eje central es su guitarrista y vocalista Michael "Olga" Algar. La banda tiene una larga estadía como atracción de culto, sus letras basadas en ironías y cuestionamientos a las ganancias absurdas les han granjeado numerosos seguidores. Su gran éxito resultó por la canción "Nellie the Elephant", la cual llegó al puesto 5 en la cartelera musical del Reino Unido. Inicios de The Toy Dolls en la Música Los Toy Dolls nacieron en Inglaterra en 1979, con Pete Zulu (nombre real Peter Robson), como vocalista, Michael "Olga" Algar en la guitarra, Phillip "Flip" Dugdale en el bajo eléctrico y Colin "Mr. Scott" Scott en la batería. Esta formación con cuatro integrantes tuvo una fugaz existencia. Zulu dejó al grupo luego de un par de conciertos, al poco tiempo la banda decidió probar como cantante a "Olga", que demostró rápidamente una gran habilidad cantando y ejecutando la guitarra.
